Booking QR Code for Your Salon: How to Set It Up

A booking QR code should go to the right public link and scan properly where you'll use it. Test it printed, and add a line that tells clients what they'll find.

Choose where it makes sense

The front desk, or a card handed out as clients leave, can make the next booking easier. Don't put it where people don't have the time, light or distance to scan. The placement should help people use it, not just fill out a design piece.

Test the final piece

Check the printout with several phones, at the real distance and under your shop's lighting. Don't stretch or crop the code. A QR code that reads fine on your design screen can fail when printed small or on a low-contrast background.

Check the link over time

If you change your business's address, check the codes already printed. Keep your service menu and hours current so the destination stays useful. A QR code makes access easier; it doesn't create availability or confirm an appointment on its own.

How to put it into practice

  1. Get the QR code for the right public link.
  2. Print a sample without distorting it.
  3. Scan it where you'll use it and check the service menu.

A common question

Does scanning the QR code confirm a booking?

No. It opens the link; the client still has to go through the booking flow and any payment steps.
