How to Describe Services on Your Online Booking Page

A useful description explains what the client is booking, what's included and what she should ask about first. Use names people understand, and separate out add-ons that change the time or the price.

Start with what clients recognize

Put the service ahead of the creative package name. If you use a specific technique, explain it without turning the description into a manual. Clients need to choose a booking, not learn your business's internal terminology.

Make clear what's included and what's extra

Mention previous-product removal, prep or finishing work when they affect the choice. If a service needs an assessment before you can estimate the price or duration, say so. Don't use a starting price that seems to cover different work than what you'll actually offer.

Check your photos and claims

Use your own photos, or ones you have permission to use, that show the service. Don't guarantee individual results or present a treatment as right for everyone. A booking organizes the visit, but it doesn't replace a professional assessment.

How to put it into practice

  1. Write the name a client would use to ask for it.
  2. Make clear what's included and what's extra.
  3. Check the description next to the price, duration and photo.

A common question

Should I repeat my location in every service description?

You don't need to repeat a location to explain a service. Focus on the information that helps clients book the right thing.
