WhatsApp Business Quick Replies for Salons

Quick replies are texts you save in WhatsApp Business and send with a shortcut, like /prices or /link. A salon does well with six: prices, link, location, deposit, changes and aftercare. Download them, replace the brackets and save them in Business tools › Quick replies.

By the Citalu team

The six you'll use most

/prices with your price list or a link to it; /link for booking; /location with your address and directions; /deposit with the amount and your payment details; /changes with your policy for moving or canceling; and /aftercare with instructions for before or after the service.

Keep them up to date

A quick reply with an old price starts arguments. Whenever you change prices, payment details or your policy, change the quick reply too. If your prices are on your booking page, send the link instead of copying them.

What not to save as a quick reply

Don't save replies for complaints, disputes or health questions: those conversations need your attention. Don't save prices that change every week either. Send your link, which is always current.

Sort them by the moment in the appointment

Before booking: /prices, /link and /location. To hold a time: /deposit. Before the appointment: /arrival. After: /thanks and /aftercare. Each moment has its own question, so you remember them without searching.

How to adapt them to your trade

For nails, add /designs with your work. For lashes, use /aftercare with what the client should avoid. For waxing, add /prep with how to get the skin ready. Look at your last chats and save what repeats most.

How to create a quick reply

In WhatsApp Business, go to Business tools and tap Quick replies. Add a new one, write the message and pick the shortcut. Then, in any chat, type / and your shortcut shows up so you can send it.

How to choose shortcuts

Use short words you remember without thinking: /prices, /link, /deposit. Avoid numbers or odd abbreviations. If your team shares one number, agree on the same names so everyone replies the same way.

Common mistakes with quick replies

Creating too many and remembering none. Sending one without reading the question. Leaving old prices in. Sounding like a robot: change a word or add the client's name before you send.

When to reply with the link

If the question is "do you have a spot on Thursday?", the link answers better than you can: it shows the real open times, and the client books without waiting.

Do quick replies work in regular WhatsApp?

They are a WhatsApp Business feature. In regular WhatsApp, you can save the texts in a note and copy them.

What is the difference between a quick reply and an automatic message?

You send a quick reply yourself with a shortcut. An automatic message goes out on its own.

Can I use them with my team?

Yes, if you share the account. Agree on the same shortcuts so everyone replies the same way.

How do I make a quick reply in WhatsApp?

In WhatsApp Business, go to Business tools, tap Quick replies and add the text with its shortcut.

Why aren't my quick replies working?

Check that you use WhatsApp Business and not regular WhatsApp. Type / in a chat and look for your shortcut. If it doesn't show up, check that it's saved and update the app.

Do they work on WhatsApp Web?

Yes. On WhatsApp Web with your business account, you also type / to see them.

Can I add an image to a quick reply?

Yes. You can save an image, like your price list, along with the text.
