Hair Salon Software and Online Scheduling

A hair salon's schedule has to show which stylist does the work and how long each booking lasts. Citalu lets you organize services and availability; processes with waiting times or shared resources need coordination by the salon.

Don't treat every service like a haircut

A styling, a haircut and a color job can take very different amounts of time. Publish options you can estimate responsibly. When the condition of the hair decides the work, offer a consultation before you confirm a final price and time.

Coordinate the stages of the service

The schedule books one block of time. It does not automatically read application, processing and rinse stages to open gaps during a process. If you need that level of planning, review the day by hand and don't assume that processing time counts as free time.

Bring bookings from every channel together

Bookings you take by phone or in the salon must be entered next to the online ones. Before you accept a walk-in, check the full time and the right stylist. Citalu does not replace a product inventory system or your bookkeeping.

How to put it into practice

  1. Separate services by length and scope.
  2. Assign each technique to the right stylists.
  3. Enter your existing appointments before you publish your booking link.

A common question

Can I take another client during a color processing time?

You have to coordinate that by hand. Citalu does not offer automatic availability by stage within a single session.
