Scheduling Software for Makeup Artists
A makeup artist has to organize trials, event services and prep time. In Citalu you can set them apart in your service menu and book times for each provider, with deposits reviewed by the business.

Separate the trial from the event day
A trial and the final service have different goals, length and conditions. Enter them as independent appointments and use a name that leaves no doubt. If the price depends on the scope, agree on that scope before you offer a fixed option on the public page.
Work backward from the departure time
Ask what time the client needs to be ready and add the buffer your operation needs. The start time of the event is not the appointment time. Confirm the address and instructions through an agreed channel to avoid last-minute changes.
Travel also takes up your schedule
If you work on location, block prep and travel time by hand. Citalu does not calculate routes, distances or travel fees. Publish availability only after you check whether the travel lets you make the next booking.

How to put it into practice
- Create one option for trials and another for the final service.
- Confirm what time the client needs to be ready.
- Block travel time before you offer another appointment.
A common question
Is the deposit paid inside Citalu?
The client pays through the outside method the business lists and can send a payment receipt. The business checks that the money arrived.
